MIRZA A.B. BAIG (1968—) did an M.A. in English from Jamia Millia Islamia and a Ph.D. in Urdu from Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi). He worked at All India Radio and later joined the BBC World Service as Research Marketing Officer in New Delhi. He writes in English, Hindi and Urdu on literary, political and cultural topics as well as poems in Urdu. He has translated poetry from English, Urdu and Persian.
