HAJIRA
MASRUR was born in 1929 in Lucknow, India and migrated to Pakistan
after 1947. Along with her sister Khadija Mastur (192782), she
is among the first generation of Pakistani Urdu writers. She has won
high critical acclaim for her short stories, of which she has published
six collections, the most highly regarded being Ha'e Allah! She
lives in Karachi.
