JANE A. SHUM holds Master's degrees in Library Studies and Languages and Cultures of Asia from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has worked in a variety of libraries in the U.S. and abroad. She also currently serves as assistant editor and website manager for The Annual of Urdu Studies.
