AZHAR ALI ABIDI was born in Wah in 1968 and grew up in Pakistan. Originally trained as an engineer, he started writing freelance literary reviews and travelogues while living in Karachi and published his first stories in Cipher, an anthology of new writing. He now lives in Melbourne, where he has finished writing his first novel.
