JAVAID QAZI was born in Pakistan in 1947; he now lives in San Jose, CalIfornia. He writes fiction in English and his work has appeared in the Kansas Quarterly, Sequoia, Chelsea, the Toronto South Asian Review, Massachusetts Review, and the Anaïs Nin: International Journal. A collection of his short stories, Unlikely Stories, will appear shortly from Oxford University Press.
