AMINA YAQIN completed her Ph.D. from SOAS, University of London in 2001 where she is now lecturer in Urdu. She is currently working on a translation of Fahmida Riaz's novella, Godavari, and on a monograph on "Gender and Intertexuality in Urdu Poetry: A Critical Study of Fahmida Riaz and Kishwar Naheed."
