SHAMOON ZAMIR is a Reader in the Department of English at King’s College, London, and teaches American and English Literature and American Studies. He has also taught at the University of Chicago and at York University. He is the author of Dark Voices: W.E.B. Dubois and American Thought (The University of Chicago Press).
