  The Digital South Asia Library, based at the Center for Research Libraries, and the Digital Dictionaries of South Asia are federally funded projects that create new electronic resources for the study of South Asia. • Microfilming of Indian Publications Project (MIPP)
  Microfilming of Indian Publications Project is preserving and making accessible all 55,992 books listed in The National Bibliography of Indian Literature: 1901-1953 (NBIL) together with the pre-1954 titles in the NBIL supplement. These are books in the twenty-two major languages of South Asia selected by a group of Indian scholars for their central importance to humanistic understanding of India. An MIPP brochure gives a more complete description of the project. A searchable web catalog of NBIL books is also available.
  
  
• The South Asia Microform Project (SAMP)
  The South Asia Microform Project acquires and maintains a readily accessible collection of materials in microform related to the study of South Asia.
